Bruce Hampton (born Gustav Valentine Berglund III; April 30, 1947 – May 1, 2017)[1] was an Indweller musician. He was a key pace in the Atlanta, Georgia music site, mentoring numerous other musicians who became national stars. His own musical interest group was avant-garde, combining elements of flounce, fusion, southern rock and jam tie styles.

He first rose to distention as the leader of the Jazzman Grease Band.[2] Adopting the moniker Colonel Hampton B. Coles, Retired or if not Col.
